Is Real Love Really Dead?

So many people are asking this question because of their current relationship status, but where are people getting their definition of love from? The definition that I have been following for quite some time now has been John 3:16, which reads, "For God so loved the word that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
